Terms of Use

Effective 7 August 2026

Welcome to Tawaqa — a social prediction game of quick yes-or-no calls. By using the app or this website you agree to these terms.

The game, in one paragraph

People publish yes-or-no questions with a deadline ("cards"). You commit a call, then see where the crowd stands; when a card settles, being right grows your Edge — a reputation score. No money is involved anywhere in Tawaqa: there is nothing to deposit, buy, bet, win or cash out, and Edge has no monetary value. Tawaqa is a game of opinion, not gambling, and nothing in it is advice — financial, legal or otherwise.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old.

Your account

An account is created automatically on your device the first time you open the app. Add an email to save it — without one, your device is the only key to the account, and losing the device means losing the account. You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your device secure. One person, one account: creating multiple accounts to tilt crowd numbers, farm Edge or evade limits is not allowed.

Your content

Questions you publish, your username and your bio remain yours. By publishing in Tawaqa you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content inside the service, including showing your username on cards you publish. Publish only what is lawful and yours to post. Do not impersonate others, harass, threaten, incite violence, sexualise minors, expose people’s private information, or spam. Questions pass an automated safety review, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules — before or after publication.

Cards and settlement

Cards settle by the rule stated on them — automatically, by AI review, or, for some community cards, by their creator. We may settle, void or correct a card to keep results honest, including when an outcome cannot be verified. Settlement decisions are final. Edge is a score we compute; its formula may change as the game evolves.

Third-party content

Some cards are republished from public prediction markets and are labelled accordingly (for example "@polymarket"). They appear for play and information; we are not affiliated with those sources and do not guarantee their accuracy.

Ending things

You can delete your account in the app whenever you like — here is exactly what that removes. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

The legal part

Tawaqa is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you have paid us to use Tawaqa — which today is nothing. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its effective date. Using Tawaqa after a change means you accept it.
